Petra Herberger graduated as a graphic designer but soon felt the urge to make a career in animation.
After finishing the “hamburg-animation-shool” with the” Hambug Animation Award “for the short film” “element 9”, she carried on working on feature films such as Lauras Stern, The Little Polar Bear, Asterix and the Vikings, The Three Robbers, The little Dodo and Moon Man. She contributed to independent short film productions as well as animated TV-Series.
