Majidah Hashim, Head of Sustainability Planning & Advocacy at TM

Majidah Hashim is a certified sustainability practitioner with over 15 years of experience in sustainability framework architecture, triple bottom line disclosures, theory of change, disruptive innovation, social entrepreneurship and strategic communications. She is also an international speaker and advocate of intersectional social and environmental issues, particularly in the areas of gender equality, circularity, biodiversity, green transitions, climate justice, ethics and futurism.

Among her notable achievements, Majidah was involved in the development of the Airport Carbon Emissions Reporting Tool (ACERT), the most widely used greenhouse gas inventory dashboard used by international airports today. She has also presented human rights reviews at the United Nations, addressing issues such as gender-based violence, discrimination, access to justice, as well as freedom of expression.

Majidah has co-authored a number of globally adopted technical publications including the GRI Airport Sector Supplement, ACI’s policy brief on Resilience and Adaptation to Climate Change, and AFI’s policy guidance on Integrating Gender and Women’s Financial Inclusion into National Strategies.
