Cynthia is recognised for her adventurous spirit and entrepreneurial flair. Relocating from Canada to Singapore, she co-founded the technology start-up Venuerific. Under her leadership, it became the largest event venue marketplace in Southeast Asia, expanding into five markets and earning recognition for its innovative CRM solution approved under Singapore’s PSG grant. Venuerific’s accolades include the Audience Choice Award at Slingshot 2017 and reaching the quarter-finals in Channel News Asia’s Start-Up Season 5.
Furthering her journey, Cynthia enhanced her marketing and leadership skills at ByteDance, the world’s most valuable unicorn, as the Head of Marketing for Asia-Pacific & Middle East for Lark, where she led impactful cross-regional campaigns with notable clients like Haidilao and Nas Daily.
Cynthia’s rich background, from startup ventures to leading roles in multinational corporations, has honed her into a marketing visionary with a unique perspective. Her most recent project, Cynpin, redefines the conventional marketing agency by empowering clients with generative AI technologies in their marketing strategies, eliminating inefficiencies.
Cynthia has also been a shortlisted nominee for Digital Leader of the Year at the Women in IT Awards 2019 Asia and is the author of an upcoming book detailing her family’s history in South Korea.
