Courtney Williams, VP Sales at Insight TV
Mr. Williams has spent more than 25 years in the international media and entertainment sector as an executive, entrepreneur, and advisor.
He is currently the Vice President for Global Distribution, Production, Sponsorship, SVOD and MarCom at Insight TV, a leading millennial and gen Z focused premium unscripted content producer, distributor and channel operator. In his capacity, he is responsible for the worldwide revenue operations of the channels business, overseeing the commercial aspects of productions and commissions, driving brand sponsorship and advertising opportunities for productions and overseeing the commercial marketing and communications of the company.
He has been a founder and partner in a number of businesses and is founder-operator of Blue Orange Europe. In this capacity, Mr. Williams provides expert advice to content-based businesses and investors with a focus on valuations, strategy, and expansion. Mr. Williams has served as an executive at major media companies including Viacom, MGM Studios and AMC Networks in Europe and Asia.
He is currently a board member of Rialto Channel International, an international independent movie service and an advisor to a group working to launch a content development fund between Europe and India. Recently, he was a board advisor to YouLook TV, a UK based FAST channel and AVOD start up. He regularly acts as a mentor to start-ups and has sat a number of boards, including for non-media businesses.
During the period of 2017 to 2020, Mr. Williams spent three years as acting global Head of Partnerships for Parrot Analytics, a leading content demand analytics company in the TV industry. Between April 2013 and June 2015, he was MD for AMC Networks Asia Pacific; and, between January 2010 and July 2012 he was GM for MGM
Channel Italy.
