Rabindra Sah is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Indian Register of Shipping, Mumbai, where he spearheads digitalization and innovative technology initiatives to drive digital transformation. With over 32 years of industry experience, he has made significant contributions to engineering services spanning design to manufacturing using advanced digital technologies and Industry 4.0 solutions. His expertise has benefitted more than 150 clients across APAC, Europe, and the USA, earning him recognition as a leader in the field.
Rabindra is an alumnus of the prestigious National Institute of Technology (NIT), Patna, where he graduated with distinction in Mechanical Engineering, topping his department. A well-rounded achiever, he was honored as the best sportsperson and all-rounder student during his time at NIT. Furthering his academic pursuits, he earned a master’s degree in Data Science and Engineering from BITS Pilani and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Amrita University.
Throughout his 30-year tenure with Tata Motors and Tata Technologies, Rabindra played a pivotal role in implementing digital product development systems and engineering solutions for industries like automotive, aerospace, industrial heavy machinery, steel, FMCG, and media & entertainment. His expertise spans end-to-end product design, development, and manufacturing, seamlessly integrating digital and physical processes. He has been instrumental in delivering excellence through his work in truck racing innovations and securing notable awards such as the Best Manager Award, Customer Whispers Award, and Excellence Award for Captive-Innovative Sales Deals.
Beyond his professional achievements, Rabindra is passionate about sports and community service. A lifelong advocate for active living, he continues to engage in sports and motivates others to adopt healthier lifestyles. He has also led numerous voluntary initiatives, demonstrating his commitment to social responsibility and inspiring others through his leadership.
