Dr. Daya Shankar Tiwari, Dean – School of Sciences, Woxsen University at Woxsen University, Hyderabad
Dr. Daya Shankar Tiwari is Dean of the School of Sciences at Woxsen University, where he leads five academic departments—Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biotechnology, and Computer Sciences & AI—serving over 5,000 students. Simultaneously, he is the founder and driving force behind VaidyaAI, a healthcare AI platform revolutionizing medical diagnostics in India and beyond.
Dr. Tiwari holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Nuclear Thermal Hydraulics from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati. His doctoral research focused on computational fluid dynamics, reactor physics simulation, and safety-critical systems design—expertise that now uniquely positions him at the intersection of nuclear engineering precision and healthcare innovation.
As the world’s only nuclear engineer working in healthcare AI, Dr. Tiwari brings an unprecedented interdisciplinary perspective to medical technology. VaidyaAI, his flagship platform, has achieved 99.7% accuracy in medical prescription analysis and diagnostic support, processing over 1,100 real-world prescriptions across multiple clinical deployments. The platform combines advanced OCR technology, physics-informed neural networks (PINNs), and clinical decision support—demonstrating that principles from the world’s most safety-critical industry can transform healthcare outcomes.
Dr. Tiwari’s research focuses on applying reactor physics methodologies to biological systems, creating AI models that are not only accurate but explainable and regulatory-compliant. This approach addresses one of healthcare AI’s biggest challenges: building trust with clinicians and regulators.
As a sought-after international speaker, he has delivered 50+ presentations across conferences, universities, and innovation summits, earning a 4.9/5 audience rating. His talks uniquely blend technical depth with real-world deployment insights, offering perspectives that literally no other speaker can provide.
Dr. Tiwari’s work represents a new paradigm in healthcare innovation—where nuclear engineering rigor meets medical artificial intelligence, creating solutions that are both groundbreaking and grounded in proven safety frameworks.
His mission: to bring the precision of nuclear reactor design to healthcare systems worldwide, saving lives through interdisciplinary innovation.
