Lee Heng, Public Affairs Manager, Asia-Pacific at Kaspersky
Lee Heng joined Kaspersky in 2023. As Public Affairs Manager, Asia-Pacific, he supports the company’s work with governments, public institutions, and industrial partners in the region to co-create policies and solutions to enhance cybersecurity. He also plays a bridging role in the company’s engagements with the public sector, to promote mutual trust and understanding.
Prior to joining Kaspersky, Lee Heng spent 8 years in the Singapore Public Service, across policymaking, technology capability development, and frontline operational roles. He was most recently Assistant Director of the Technology and Data Policy Directorate at Singapore’s Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), where he championed responsible use of government data for law enforcement and public safety. He was also a senior officer in the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), where he helped start its Transformation and Future Technology Department, and drew up its Ops-Tech and Smart Fire Station masterplans.
Lee Heng graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Magna Cum Laude) from the Singapore Management University (SMU), on a government scholarship.
