Varun Sahai, Assistant Professor & Programme Leader at Amity University
Varun Sahai is an enthusiastic and insightful professional with over fifteen years of experience as a core faculty of Animation & Design at Amity School of Fine Arts, Amity University. With a passion for fostering academic development and success, Varun has dedicated himself to helping students accomplish their academic goals. He is known for his approachable demeanour, excellent attention to detail, and commitment to long-term student success.
As a core faculty member, Varun has successfully contributed to developing and delivering the Fine Arts curriculum. He has been instrumental in implementing technology-based curriculum delivery and assessment tools, enhancing the learning experience for students. Varun has also taken on the role of Programme Coordinator at Amity School of Fine Arts, where he has provided support to both professors and students.
Varun’s commitment to academic excellence is evident in his ability to explain complex material and concepts, addressing varied learning levels and modalities. He has consistently achieved classroom management and academic goals while maintaining an effective learning environment through prepared classes and relevant assignments.
In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Varun has taken on various administrative roles within the university. Varun’s organizing abilities have been showcased through his involvement in numerous events and committees. With excellent interpersonal skills and a creative mindset, Varun excels in developing skills in students and providing them with a growth-oriented path. He possesses strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and has extensive experience in presentations and branding. Varun has also extended his academic experience beyond Amity by serving as an external evaluator and a member of the Board of Studies at other universities.
Varun holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Multimedia & Animation and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree from Delhi University. Additionally, he has acquired technical skills in software such as Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Audition, and Autodesk Maya from Maya Academy of Advance Cinematics between 2003-2006.
His extensive experience as a faculty member, his commitment to academic success, and his involvement in various administrative and organizing roles make him a highly accomplished and respected professional in the field of Animation & Design.
